Abstract
N14 pure quadrupole resonances have been found in three compounds having a nonzero asymmetry parameter for the electric field gradient at the resonating nuclei. The shapes of these resonances demonstrate a decrease in the effectiveness of Zeeman modulation as the asymmetry increases, in agreement with theory. Keywords
