Abstract
Multilayers of various metal oxides have been produced on typical chromatographic supports such as diatomaceous earth and silica gel. The layer thickness was characterized for phases based on iron and chromium. These data, as well as chromatographic evidence obtained on chromium oxide, suggest that the layers are homogeneous. Similar, but less well characterized layers of aluminum and titanium oxides have been obtained. Keywords
