Abstract
In the past, the treatment of “ice pick” and pox-type scarring has been a perplexing problem. Successful methods of treatment have included excision, punch excision, and punch replacement. These are usually first-stage procedures, however, and often require secondary treatment. This paper describes a method of treating these types of scars with the CO2 laser which can give excellent results and, in some cases, be an end-stage procedure. Keywords
