Abstract
The Boerhaave syndrome was studied in terms of symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and post-therapeutic recovery. An esophageal rupture, the syndrome is often dangerously misdiagnosed and consequent treatment fails to offer the patient full relief. A case history is examined in which all aspects of the syndrome are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the values of roentgenography. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
