Energy deposition by relativistic electrons in high-temperature targets

Abstract
Under the conditions existing in electron-beam-irradiated pellet fusion targets, temperature and density effects on the energy loss and multiple scattering are shown to cause significant effective range shortening. A significant drop in the bremsstrahlung yield is also calculated.Keywords
