Abstract
A systematic comparison of the (,) and (,) transiton strengths for the excitation of unnatural-parity states of "stretched" configurations gives definite information on the high-momentum components of the tensor part of the nucleon-nucleon force. The available data emphasize the isovector part of the tensor force.
