Asymmetric hydrogenation with perfluoroalkylated monodentate phosphorus(iii) ligands in supercritical CO2 and CH2Cl2This work was presented at the Green Solvents for Catalysis Meeting held in Bruchsal, Germany, 13–16th October 2002.

Abstract
Four chiral perfluoroalkylated monodentate phosphorus(III) ligands have been prepared and characterised. These ligands have been evaluated in the rhodium-catalysed asymmetric hydrogenation of dimethyl itaconate in both dichloromethane and supercritical CO2 (scCO2) and compared with the parent, non-perfluoroalkylated, catalyst systems.
