Abstract
The synthesis of the C-terminal decapeptide derivative .beta.21-30 of the .beta.-chain of human insulin (benzyloxycarbonyl-.gamma.-tert-butoxyglutamyl-arginyl-glycyl-phenylalanyl-phenylalanyl-O-tert-butyltyrosyl-O-tert-butylthreonyl-prolyl-N.epsilon.-tert-butyl-oxycarbonyllysyl-O-tert-butylthreonine tert-butylester, XIII) by the fragment condensation of the tripeptide B21-23 with the heptapeptide B24-30 is described. Two new routes for both the tripeptide and the heptapeptide were established. A simplified method for the purification of O-tert-butylthreonine tert-butyl ester was developed. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
