Abstract
The authors consider the statistical properties of coherent light Rayleigh-scattered by a solution containing an arbitrary number N of independent, identical particles. Expressions are obtained for the single-interval intensity probability distribution and the moments of this distribution, which are equivalent to the measurable photocount factorial moments. Keywords
