REPETITIVE PAROXYSMAL VENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA

Abstract
A patient with repetitive paroxysmal tachycardia is presented in whom spontaneous cessation of the paroxysms occurred coincident with the onset of adolescence and after several years of control with quinidine sulfate. The arrhythmia in this patient was not associated with any other evidence of heart disease and apparently does not have an unfavorable prognosis. The etiology and therapy of this condition are briefly discussed.
