Abstract
Alzheimer's Disease is being recognized as a more commoti phenomenon than previously acknowledged. The pathology centers on two major tissue changes in the interneurons of the central nervous system. Nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation should be concurrent for persons with Alzheimer's Disease. Listening to what the patient and/or significant others say or do not say, analyzing and verifying this information are vital in providing goal-directed patient care. Sharing innovative ideas helps the nurse to reduce the mystery of Alzheimer's Disease. Keywords
