Leptonic Decay of the New Resonances and the Nature of the Confinement Potential

Abstract
It is shown that the experimental data of the leptonic decay rates of the new resonances indicate that the confinement potential of the charmed quarks is weaker than a linear potential. This consideration also explains the absence of significant peaks in the e+e- experiment above 5 GeV.Keywords
