Statolon-Induced Resistance of Mice to Lethal Aerosols of Columbia-SK Virus

Abstract
Statolon-induced resistance in mice was effective against either i.p. or i.h. challenge with Col-SK virus. After receiving 3 LD50 by the aerosol route, 94% of the statolon-treated mice survived whereas none of the untreated control mice survived. In statolon-treated mice, virus replication occurred in lung tissue only.
