Abstract
An aqueous microcrystalline suspension of testosterone was 3 times more effective in stimulating the growth of the temporal muscles and 9-16 times more effective on the accessory sex organs than an olive oil soln. of testosterone and as effective as a sesame oil soln. of testosterone propionate. An aqueous microcrystalline suspension of androstanediol-3[alpha], 17[alpha] was slightly more effective on the temporal muscle and less effective on the accessory sex organs than a similar suspension of testosterone. Keywords
