Abstract
A simplified interpretation machine for electrocardiography was designed. Its principal parts consist of the memory mechanism of the questions which are stored in color roll film, and that of the order of the questions for which the tournament type of relays are used. The operator, watching an already recorded electrocardiogram, pushes the "yes" or "no" button by answering the questions presented to him one after another. By such procedures the interpretation process advances automatically along the branches of the binary logic system of differential diagnosis, obtaining the final answer. The results of trial use were considerably better than expected. Keywords
