Abstract
Masculinization of castrated female guinea pigs was produced in 11 instances by ovarian grafts to the ear, in one case by graft to the anterior chamber of the eye; and one spontaneously masculinized guinea pig occurred. The development of masculinization occurred pari passu with increased 17-ketosteroid excretion. When cystic ovarian remnants occurred the steroid excretion increased more than when grafts alone were responsible for the syndrome. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
