Abstract
The galvanic skin response and the accompanying vascular response on the same digit were recorded and studied in 6 male and 2 female subjects. Results showed that the reflexes may fluctuate independently in size and one reflex may occur in the absence of the other. In man the vascular and sweat gland responses in the same area of skin can function independently of each other and have separate nervous pathways. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
