Abstract
Eight-nine gilts were inseminated with deep frozen boar spermatozoa thawed in seminal plasma, filtrate of seminal plasma, skimmed milk and isotonic glucose solution. The most favourable fertility results were obtained when seminal plasma was used as thawing diluent. It was shown that a relationship exists between the post thawing acrosome morphology, the post thawing GOT-release and the fertility of frozen spermatozoa. Keywords
