Abstract
Continuation of the isoimmunization of gibbons over a 3 yr. period has yielded a 2nd antiserum of specificity anti-AG and 2 additional antisera of a new specificity designated anti-CG. Antibodies of specificities anti-AG and anti-BG characteristically react with high avidity by all 3 methods used, namely, agglutination, antiglobulin and ficin. Blood factor AG appears to occur regularly in gibbons of subspecies Hylobates tar tar and not in subspecies H. lar pileatus; in contrast, blood factor BG appears to be characteristic for subspecies H. lar pileatus and is absent in H. lar lar. Antibodies of specificity anti-CG react best by the antiglobulin technique and define individual differences within the subspecies H. lar lar. Keywords
