Abstract
Transfusion of plasma from hypercholesteremic dogs to 6 cholecystonephrostomised dogs did not increase the cholic acid output in the latter, even though from 1.24 - 2.57 g. of cholesterol were given over a period of 3 consecutive days. Feeding 60 g. of casein daily to the same 6 dogs increased the cholic acid as expected but did not alter the total serum cholesterol. Keywords
