Abstract
Tracer diffusion coefficient measurements in n-hexane have been made using a high-pressure diaphragm cell for [14C]benzene, [14C]toluene, [G–3H]benzo[a]pyrene, [14C]carbon disulphide and [14C]acetonitrile at 298.2 K and at pressures up to 400 MPa. The results, which have an estimated accuracy of ± 2% up to 240 MPa and ± 4% at the higher pressures, have been satisfactorily interpreted on the basis of the rough hard-sphere model. Keywords
