Abstract
A new type of crossover is observed in the temperature dependence of the parallel critical field of superconductor-insulator multilayers. This transition from a two-dimensional single-film behavior towards a two-dimensional coupled behavior results from the limited number of bilayers in the multilayer system. Keywords
