Abstract
The evaluation of the Green's function expression for the density of states of disordered systems is considered for liquid metals and interacting impurities. It is shown that the geometric condition frequently used implies a multivariate gaussian distribution of the Fourier components of the potential. The results are used to obtain, in closed form, expressions for the averaged propagator when the geometric condition is valid. Keywords
