Abstract
Angle-resolved photoemission studies of the narrow d-conduction band of VSe2 are described. The data indicate that photoholes produced in states near the Fermi surface which give rise to Fermi surface 'nesting' are scattered preferentially. The data represent the only experimental indication at room temperature of the incipient charge density wave instability in this material. Keywords
