Abstract
We have extended the analysis of radiant coolers by means of the specular image technique to include the absorption of radiant power from external sources. The technique is again applied to cone channels of rectangular geometry. Sample cooler designs are used to illustrate the procedures for extended and distant point sources. The approach cannot be used for cones with curved walls; other approaches are discussed for the case of a right circular cone. Keywords
