Observations préliminaires sur les altérites granitiques de Petite Kabylie (Algérie)

Abstract
On two calco-alkaline granitic massives (N-E Algeria), under humid mediterranean climate, we observe thick weathering mantles of which evolution tends towards generalized laolinisation. But a study of two toposequences shows, between one massif to the other, a différenciation which can be seen by more deve- lopped stages on the continental massif and by a different weathered material distribution. From the examination of several parameters able to command this différenciation, it is shown that, if petrography and topography are important, then the budget between morphogenesis and lateration plays a captial part, as well as the tectonic factor which is to be precised.
