Abstract
Conversion of Wiley-McLaren type TOF instruments for laser desorption is described, including laser optics, timing circuitry, postacceleration detection for high mass and data acquisition. Results are shown to illustrate signal averaging capabilities, detection limits and high mass measurements. Keywords
