Abstract
The FleetNet project aims at the development ofa wireless ad hoc network for Inter-Vehicle Communications(IVC). As a basis for the air-interface, the framework of theUMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Time Division Duplex (UTRATDD) has been selected as the most promising candidate. SinceUTRA TDD was developed for operation in a cellular networkstructure, modifications are required to enable mobile nodesto communicate in ad hoc mode without the existence of basestations. In particular, this...Keywords
