Abstract
Some heuristic aspects of one-channel transparency are revealed and explained. Particularly, the prediction of peculiarities of the transparency for waves moving in the space of discrete variables (numbering, e.g., channels or mixing configurations) is presented. The phenomenon of complete multichannel penetrability, which requires the potential barriers in interaction matrices, is investigated using exactly solvable models with different number of bound states, channels, and variation of thresholds. These models can help to deepen our understanding of properties of real quantum (nuclear, atomic) multichannel systems. Keywords
