Abstract
The dissociative self−surface ionization (DSSI) is discussed for thick polycrystalline layers of alkali−metal halides deposied on metal surfaces which are heated in vacuum. The positive ionization efficiency for the above process is discussed in some detail. (AIP)Keywords
