Abstract
The placing in operation of transmission lines of 345 kV and higher made it desirable to update previous reports on transmission line operation. Information on EHV transmission lines was obtained from operating companies and correlations were attempted between design characteristics and operating results. A wealth of information was obtained, sorted out, and is presented in tabular form and should be of value to transmission line designers and operators and system planners. Keywords
