Abstract

Measurements were made of

\frac{d σ}{d Ω}

[

θ_{π} = 90 ° (lab)

] for

{}^{10}B

(

γ, π^{+}

)

{}^{10}{Be}

(g.s.) at

T_{π} = 17, 29, and 42

MeV, for

{}^{10}B

(

γ, π^{+}

)

{}^{10}{Be}

(

E_{x} = 3.37

MeV) at

T_{π} = 29 and 42

MeV, and for

{}^{10}B

(

γ, π^{-}

)

{}^{10}C

(g.s.) at

T_{π} = 29

MeV. The results disagree significantly with several recent distorted-wave impulse approximation calculations.
