Abstract
Attitude testing is a well‐established procedure, but comparatively little research has been undertaken into the effects of different science courses on pupils’ attitudes. This report sets out the results obtained from students who have just started, compared with those who have almost completed, a three‐year coordinated science course. These results are also contrasted with those from students following single subject courses in the sciences. It would appear from the scores that students taking the coordinated course do have more positive attitudes towards science education and, hopefully, towards science in general. Keywords
