In Vitro and in Vivo Effects of Cadmium Chloride on lsoenzymes of Carbonic Anhydrase in Rat Testes and Erythrocytes1

Abstract
Isoenzymes of carbonic anhydrase were isolated by disc-gel electrophoresis from erythrocytes and testes of normal rats and from testes of rats treated with CdCl2 in vivo. Gels containing isoenzymes isolated from tissues of normal rats were treated in vitro with varying concentrations of CdCl2, CaCl2, or acetazolamide, and visualized using a cobaltstaining method.
