Abstract
Two patients with carcinoma of the main hepatic duct junction had resection followed by reconstruction between a Roux-en-Y loop of jejunum and the hepatic tissue surrounding the bile ducts at the hilum of the liver. At 18 and 11 mo. postoperatively, they were both free from known tumor recurrence and had normal serum bilirubin levels.
