Abstract
"Yes"-"No" psychophysical experiments assume that the greater the intensity of the stimulus, the greater the probability of a "Yes" response. On the basis of this assumption the relationships between the method of limits and the method of constant stimuli are derived, a procedure for comparing data obtained by the two methods is recommended, and a procedure for comparing ascending and descending series within the method of limits is given. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
