Abstract
Integration of semiconductor amplifiers in integrated optical circuits is presently possible. Reflections inside these circuits are undesirable for they can cause unwanted oscillations. The reflection properties of integrated passive multimode interference (MMI)-couplers have been experimentally determined. Keywords
