Abstract
This method consists of the removal of the reducible phos-phomolybdic acid from the aqueous soln. by extraction with iso-butyl alcohol, and its reduction with SnCl2. The amt. of phosphate present is estimated by determining the intensity of blue color produced. The amt. of P which can be accurately detd. is 1-100 [gamma] by the standard method, and 0.1-10 [gamma] by the specially designed micro-method. The method is almost completely independent of interfering substances. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
