Abstract
Scintigraphy was used in 8 patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction to detect changes in bone metabolism assumed to be responses to altered activity of the masticatory muscles. Asymmetry in clinical signs and symptoms coincided with the asymmetry observed in the computed horizontal tomograms. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
