Abstract
A case of persistent primitive trigeminal artery is described, in which a stenosis of the internal carotid artery was present on the same side. The persistent abnormal fetal communication was filled on vertebral arteriography only. However, on the basis of the dilution effect seen on the carotid arteriogram, it could be conjectured that an abnormal communication existed between the carotid syphon and the vertebral artery and that the blood flow was directed from the vertebral artery to the carotid artery. Keywords
