Abstract
The origin and development of intrahyphal hyphae in two species of Linderina are described. This is only the second record of endohyphae production by a Phycomycete. Injury and aging of the mycelium were factors stimulating production of intrahyphal growth. The evolutionary significance of intrahyphal hyphae growth in the genus Linderina is briefly discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
