Abstract
The effects of aqueous extracts of 18 herbs [Ukon, Engosaku, Botanppi, Touki, Yakumosou, Daiou, Tounin, Motsuyaku, Syakuyaku, Keihi, Senkyuu, Kouka, Goshitsu, Takuran, Sanryou, Soboku, Tanzin and Keikettsutou] used for Oketsu, blood coagulation, in Chinese medicine were investigated. Plasma recalcification time on mice was employed for the bioassay. All 18 herbs have an inhibiting blood coagulative activity.Keywords
