“Conjoined” Nerve Roots: A Requirement for Computed Tomographic and Myelographic Correlation for Diagnosis

Abstract
In a case of “conjoined” nerve roots with herniated nucleus pulposus, the computed tomographic findings were inconclusive, if not misleading. Myelography alone was also not definitive. Correlation of these two studies allowed a successful surgical approach.
