Abstract
The incidence of ectopic pregnancy is increasing in the Western world, and this reproductive complication has had an adverse impact on subsequent fertility. Advances in the surgical treatment of ectopic pregnancies have been designed to preserve future reproductive potential, but conservative tubal surgery may fail to completely remove the trophoblast. Described is a case of persistent ectopic pregnancy successfully treated with methotrexate.Keywords
