Studies on Constituents of Medicinal Plants. VIII. The Stereochemistry of Paulownin and Isopaulownin

Abstract
The stereochiemistry of paulownin, isopaulownin, m.p. 132[degree], which was derived from paulownin with 20% EtOH-HCl [ethyl alcohol-hydrochloric acid] or 5% HCCOH [formic acid] d-sesamin and d-asarlnin were elucidated by the analysis of their NMR [nuclear magnetic resonance] spectra.
