Anomalous Magnetic Moment of the Electron

Abstract

We present detailed results of our previously published calculation of the sixth-order magnetic moment of the electron. The numerical accuracy has been improved, resulting in a value

a_{e} = \frac{1}{2} \frac{α}{π} - 0.328 47 {(\frac{α}{π})}^{2} + 1.21 {(\frac{α}{π})}^{3}

, which is in reasonable agreement with the latest experimental result.
