Abstract
The cholinesterase content of the red cells from the blood of 18 normal humans was measured directly. No proportionality was found between red cell count, total Hb and cholinesterase activity. Expressed as cmm. of CO2 produced/hr./million red cells, esterase activity varied from 3.94 X 10-4 to 7.45 X 104 with a mean value of 6.16 X 10-4.Keywords
