Abstract
0.1% of Na ace-naphthene (5) sulfonate in nutrient broth produced an anomalous variation from a smooth culture of E. typhosa. The rough type colony made its appearance after the 7th day of incubation. The % of R colonies varied from 2 to 18 until the observation ended at 30 days. The R type did not ferment galactose. Keywords
