Abstract
We present a method for analysis of nonrigid motionin time sequences of volume images (4D data). Inthis method nonrigid motion of the deforming objectcontour is dynamically approximated by a deformablesurface. In order to reduce the number of parametersdescribing the deformation, we make use of modalanalysis which provides a spatial smoothing of the surface, and Fourier analysis on time signals of the maindeformation spectrum components, which provides atemporal smoothing. Thus, a...Keywords
