Reports the fluctuations in cerebral function observed in Aphasic patients. Detailed summaries of the clinical histories of 2 patients, one 32 yrs and the other 30 yrs were given. Provides detailed description of the S's responses to various tests. Fluctuations were observed in responses. Concluded that the results obtained with the aphasics cannot be satisfactorily explained by themselves, but in connection with other experimental and clinical facts they indicate a degree of variability of cerebral functioning.
